2.5 inch LCD (Electronics) I was looking for a rabsonaely priced, small, second camera, to replace an Olympus that was showing signs of age. We take it when we go cycling, walking, or pop it in a handbag or pocket. We have now owned it for a month and it has been a great success. We would have preferred a viewfinder, but have managed with the screen only sighting. It has performed well in a number of different conditions, and gives bright sharp colours. It took some time to master the timing of the shutter for action shots, and the usefulness of the fireworks mode still alludes us, as it does on our other camera! We have found the camera easy to use, the menu functions are clear and the screen display easy to read. Start-up time is minimal and it is a convenient size and shape for our needs. Remember too that this is a pretty cheap camera! All in all, if you are looking for a easy to use, compact camera and are on a budget, I don't see how you could go wrong with this Canon.
